Amazon has launched a new Delivery Service Partner Program in India on August 31, 2021 to empower new entrepreneurship businesses.
With the increased popularity of online platforms, encouraging digitization of services, delivery business is on its peak amid the covid pandemic. Shifting the tides from retails to online marketing, statistics show promising long term plans in delivery services.
The number of online orders received by Zomato, the online food delivery application, rose significantly from 55 Millions in 2019 to 214 Millions in 2021.
Zomato had an order volume of over 200 million during the first half of the financial year 2020, almost four times the volume of the previous year.

Digital traffic has grown 300% faster since 2014 as more food deliveries and shopping increased, mostly preferred by the millenials.
Conferring to such rise in demand of delivery services, Amazon is backing the new businesses to help gain operational expertise through negotiated services.
